The direct flight between Kharkiv and Batumi (the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, Georgia) will be operated from 14 June 2014.
Batumi is a new tourist object for most of Ukrainians. It isn’t inferior to famous foreign resorts, even in some cases it’s superior to them. Exotic subtropical nature, clean warm sea (swimming season in Batumi is from March till October), well-developed infrastructure, many sights, active night life and famous Caucasian cuisine, all these are not all advantages of the resort, which is reasonably called the pearl of Adjara. Another Batumi zing is the longest and improved sea-front on the Black Sea coast, it is an ideal place for daily strolls and night promenade.
Flights from International airport “Kharkiv” will be operated by UIA by Boеing 737. The flight regularity is twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays. Return flights are on Fridays and Mondays. Approximate round-trip ticket price incl. all taxes is from 2790 UAH.
“The new low-cost flight to Batumi promises to become a perfect alternative to Crimean rest and not only to it. Surely the service quality and the degree of infrastructure development on Adjara resorts conform to European level in full. And the democratic ticket price makes this offer more attractive. We hope that the route will be popular among citizens of Kharkiv and nearby regions. It has everything for it”, – CEO of International airport “Kharkiv” Vladimir Vasilchenko commented.
