The flight between Kharkiv and Kyiv and 12 more international flights depart from the airport of Slobozhanshchina on schedule.
“We work as always, airplanes of different airlines fly to Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Egypt, Turkey, Montenegro and Cyprus without delays”, – Vladyslav Ilyin, Head of commercial department of International airport “Kharkiv”, underlined. Moreover we continue realizing a program of airport development, i.e. expanding the geography of direct flights from Kharkiv and attracting new airlines. Some carriers, which cooperated with the airport before, have announced about the restart of flight operation in winter schedule. Among them – Air Arabia which confirmed the information that from October 2014, as in prior winter, it operates regular flights between Kharkiv and Sharjah (the United Arab Emirates).
Earlier it was told that passenger air carriers make decisions on their own about the flight cancellation or operation from Kharkiv due to close of air area in Donetsk, Lugansk and partially Kharkiv regions by state air service. Some airlines temporarily stopped operating their flights. In particular, till 2 August flights are not operated to Istanbul and till 4 August – to Vienna. International airport “Kharkiv” management recommends passengers to get information about the particular flight from the air carrier.
International airport “Kharkiv” (http://hrk.aero/) is one of the key objects of Slobozhanshchina capital, reconstructed in preparation for the finals of European Football Championship in 2012.
