Kharkiv airport with Consulate general of the Republic of Poland have presented a free ticket on flight Kharkiv-Warsaw of WizzAir to the 50 000th Ukrainian who obtained Polish visa.
The festive ceremony dedicated to this event was held in Consulate general of the Republic of Poland in Kharkiv at the end of December. Its guests were Deputy Consul General of the Republic of Poland Petr Matushak and Deputy CEO of aviation operations of International airport “Kharkiv”Vladyslav Ilyin.
Giving an estimation to Ukrainian-Polish relationships, Mr.Matushak underlined that recently the quantity of applications for Polish visa in Kharkiv region has significantly increased. Consul General of the Republic of Poland considers that this fact is directly connected with the launching of a regular flight between Kharkiv and Warsaw in October 2013.
Deputy CEO of aviation operations of International airport “Kharkiv”Vladyslav Ilyin in his turn noticed that taking into consideration an active development of business and culture relationships between two countries over the last days, launching of the destination was absolutely logical. “Launching of the direct flight between Kharkiv and Warsaw has become the one of interest catalyzers of Polish theme. Also the ticket price is very pleasant. Cooperation with WizzAir allows to set democratic ticket prices and make this trip available to all passengers”, – he mentioned.
