International airport “Kharkiv” has summarized the results of its operating in October of the current year. In October 54 500 passengers (up 29%) used services of International airport “Kharkiv”, among them 46 800 (up 44%) – on international flights and 7 600 (down 23%) – on domestic ones. Total passenger traffic from January to October 2013 is 514 500 passengers (up 21% compared to the prior year), among them – 447 100 international flights (up 32%) and 67 400 domestic ones (down 23%).

The demand on domestic flights is lower: 174 flights were operated, down 24% compared to October 2012. In whole from January to October 2013 3991 flights were operated, down 8% compared to 2012 (4349 flights).
As to popularity rating, the most actual flights in October 2013 were Warsaw (Wizz Air), Vienna (Austrian Airlines), Dubai (flydubai), Kutaisi (Wizz Air), Moscow (Aeroflot, Utair), Istanbul (Pegasus) and Kyiv (UIA, UTair Ukraine).
“The key direction of our operation is international air carriages, they provide stable passenger traffic growth. Taking it into the consideration, the airport is working at extension of international route map, also due opening of low-cost flights”, – CEO of International airport “Kharkiv” Vladimir Vasilchenko mentioned.
