Thanks to the passengers who chose Kharkiv airport as the starting point of their travels in 2019, passenger traffic has crossed the mark of one million people for the first time in recent history. This year, 1.34 million passengers used the airport services. The Kharkiv airport team is grateful to Kharkiv residents and city guests for their choice and trust.

The most popular destinations of the year were Kyiv, Istanbul, Sharm El Sheikh, Antalya, Warsaw, Vienna, Tel Aviv, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Dortmund. To expand its flight map from Kharkiv and offer its guests more opportunities, the airport began to cooperate with Ryanair, Buta Airways, Ernest Airlines and announced new flights from these and other airlines almost every month.

Now, there are new direct flights from Kharkiv to a number of European and Eastern cities such as Baku, Vilnius, Krakow, Milan (Malpensa), Paris, Poznan, Prague, Rome, Sharjah, as well as to Lviv and Odesa, making it easier for Ukrainians to travel within the country.

There are some new flights planned for 2020 too. There will be direct flights to Budapest (Hungary), Burgas (Bulgaria) and Heraklion (Greece). We are sure that this is just a fraction of the good news awaiting the passengers in the upcoming year. We wish you all many exciting journeys and new experiences. Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!

Passenger traffic has crossed the mark of one million people. At the same time, eleven new destinations have been added this year.
