In December 2018, passenger traffic of Kharkiv International Airport amounted to 78.6 thousand passengers. It is 30% more than the figure for December of last year — then it reached 60.5 thousand people. International passenger traffic of the month has grown even more significantly, it amounted to 60.3 thousand people, which is 37% more than at the same period last year.

The most popular destinations in the Pre New Year’s month were Sharm El Sheikh (SkyUp, Windrose, Azur Air Ukraine, UIA, Bravo Airways), Kyiv (UIA), Istanbul (Turkish Airlines, Pegasus), Warsaw (LOT) and Vienna (Wizz Air). The capital of Austria entered the top 5 immediately after the opening of flights on November 25.
