In November, passenger traffic at Kharkiv International Airport reached 115.2 thousand passengers. This is 59% more than in the same period last year when the figure was 72.6 thousand. The airport served 95.4 thousand passengers on international flights, 19.8 thousand passengers on domestic flights and showed 72% and 16% growth respectively.

In November 2019, the airlines carried out 477 flights from Kharkiv Airport, which is 24% more than in the same period in 2018. The most popular destinations were Sharm El Sheikh, Kyiv, Istanbul, Kraków, Warsaw, Vienna, Gdańsk, Sharjah, Katowice, and Prague.

In November, it became known that due to the steady growth in the third quarter of 2019 Kharkiv Airport was ranked among the top five gateways serving up to 5 million passengers a year. This rating was released by the European branch of Airports Council International (ACI Europe).

Also, a number of new flights were announced and opened last month. On 27 December, UIA and the Coral Travel tour operator launch flights to Kayseri, Turkey. On 16 January 2020, the low-cost airline Ryanair launches flights to Budapest. On 29 March, this carrier also launches flights to Warsaw (Modlin).
