In October 2018 passenger traffic of the Kharkiv International Airport totaled 82.9 thousand people. This is 22% higher than at the same period in 2017. International passenger traffic is growing faster than domestic.

Flights to Kyiv, Istanbul, Warsaw, Tel Aviv, Minsk and recently opened flights to Dortmund, Katowice, and Tbilisi (Myway Airlines) had the greatest demand in October. Also, regular flights to Gdansk and Wroclaw from Wizz Air were opened at the airport last month.

The number of international departures from the airport in October reached 258 — 20 more than at the same period last year. The number of domestic flights has decreased but the number of passengers grew.

For ten months of this year, the airport provided services to 811.2 thousand passengers — 19% more than for the same period in 2017. The total number of departures also increased. It amounted to 3 925, which is 7% higher than in the ten months of 2017.

In November, the airport will launch flights to London and Vienna from the low-cost carrier Wizz Air. Tickets can be purchased at wizzair.com. In addition, Ernest Airlines have opened sales on their website for new direct flights to Milan and Rome from Kharkiv International Airport.

Passenger traffic at the airport continues to grow along with the opening of new flights.
